UK producer Montao drops "Transatlantic Cipher" featuring Royce Da 5'9", Motormouf & KXNG Crooked

Fresh off the back of last month’s heavyweight release What in the World? — featuring Slug (Atmosphere), Koncept and Lane Shuler, and remixed by Wu-Tang legend Bronze Nazareth — Montao is back on the radar with another massive drop, Transatlantic Cipher.

Out today, the track hits hard from the first beat, delivering bass-heavy production that nods to Montao’s UK roots while bridging the gap between British and American hip-hop. It’s a cross-continental link-up in every sense, featuring lyrical titans Royce Da 5’9” and KXNG Crooked alongside Liverpool’s own Motormouf.

Each artist brings their own flavour and precision to the mic, riding Montao’s dynamic production with skill and swagger. The result is a masterclass in international collaboration — three elite wordsmiths and one visionary producer proving that hip-hop knows no borders.

“This one’s all about the energy,” Montao shares. “Four artists, two from each side of the pond — it’s a Transatlantic Cipher!”

The single stands alone for now but also sets the stage for Montao’s forthcoming deluxe edition of Echoes of the Cosmos, dropping Friday 21st November. Expect more boundary-pushing production and bold collaborations that showcase Montao’s unmistakable sound.

Transatlantic Cipher is out now on all streaming platforms.
